In estate, quando i sentieri sono liberi dalla morsa del gelo, è piacevole passeggiare nella natura della Riserva Valle del Foro. In its territory there is the wildlife area of the Apennine wolf, with an area, above the village, dedicated to the repopulation of wolves. The Riserva Naturale del Foro, created in 1997 to protect the territory, was the first nucleus of the Maiella National Park. Numerous hiking trails lead into the Park.
